I have a love-hate relationship with rewatching old boxed sets of my favourite shows. On the one hand there is the beauty if reliving wonderful fandom moments, great characters, skipping any boring bits if I’m short on time, not having to wait for the new episodes, but on the other hand there its so sad knowing you’ll get to the end and there will be no more. Also it feels lonely not having anyone to talk to about what you’re watching because normal people have moved on. I have no idea how people do that, how do you watch a show for 3-7 years and love those characters and never watch it again?

Only fangirls will understand the emotional turmoil brought up by finding an old fanvid from a show that has long since been cancelled featuring an OTP that weren’t together when the show got cancelled.

(It was a The Secret Circle fanvid featuring Adam and Cassie. I really really don’t want BATB to get cancelled but if it does I hope Vincent and Catherine at least get a happily ever after because I can’t deal with that sort of heartbreak again).

any suggestions?
I couldn’t afford the awesome painted Dr Who Converse on etsy so I bought a pair of plain white canvas hi tops, I’ve sketched a tardis on one and the DW logo on the other (I’ll then go over it with black perm marker before painting them). I’ve got “Come Along Pond” and “A Madmad With A Box” as two quotes, there’s one spot left but it wouldn’t fit more than five or six words. I could leave it blank…
I was thinking “Bowties are cool” or “Spoilers Sweetie” because I’m a big Matt Smith / Riversong fan.

It’s not Jane Austen, it’s just a bit of fun with some great characters but I write the sorts of things I like to read (lots of dialogue, some banter and some romance). If you prefer one shots I’m particularly pleased with how “The Cowardly Lion” turned out. I also like “Ode to Hitchcock” is fun.
And someone please read “Half Full” and review, don’t get me wrong I love shipper fic but JT banter should get some appreciation too!

- yes the pilot wasn’t amazing, but its turning into a love story that delena shippers will fall for I know, just try it, TVD almost didn’t survive the first five episodes in season 1 (rating sucked) always give a show a season to establish itself but to do that they need viewers. This is an OTP you don’t want to miss.

Okay I know I’m behind (stuff happened during the week)… but holy crap the TVD peeps do major character death well but horribly if that makes sense?
There was a moment when Elena was down on her knees in the living room crying and it felt so real I was almost overwhelmed with the memory of the grief of the only loved one I’ve lost. In that moment I could totally connect with the character and how insane it is that she’s lost so much.I also I felt so sad for Damon that he didn’t believe he was enough for her. I really liked the imagery of the fire though, it seemed very spiritual.
To be honest the episode before this didn’t impress me, I have started to feel like the show was losing oomph - they have this fantastic opportunity this season to explore the delena relationship and they seem to be afraid to spend too much time on it in case the stelena fans stop watching which is fickle and stupid. Also I feel like Klaus has missed out on the opportunity to grow because he’s just hanging around waiting for the spin off.

OH THE HORROR MAKE THE BADNESS GO AWAY.
She was a plot device, can we please now delete her from our memories? (no disrespect or hate to the actress, she did a fine job, but the sooner I suppress all memory of Vincent entertaining the idea of running off with her the better, and seriously how did she not catch on faster that he is in love Cat?).
